哲里木盟位于内蒙古自治区东部,与吉林辽宁两省相毗邻。全盟辖五旗二市一县,总面积近6万平方公里,其中耕地1100万亩,可利用草牧场4100万亩,森林1600万亩。在全盟274万人口中,蒙古族110万,占全盟总人口的40％,占全区蒙古族人口的35％,是全区乃至全国蒙古族最集中的少数民族地区。柳河是辽河下游右侧的一个较大支流,发源于我盟奈曼旗境内,全长297公里。在我盟境内闹得海水库以上柳河流域总面积3062平方公里,共有
Zheli League is located in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, adjacent to Jilin and Liaoning provinces.
