In his lecture on Freiburg in 1930, Heidegger elaborates on the interpretation of Kant’s two paths to freedom. It specifically states that the essence of human freedom is moral self-discipline, pure will, and self-responsibility. Kant’s first road to freedom was put forward and realized in “Critique of Pure Reason”, which corresponds to the natural causality and reveals the possibility of freedom. The second path is “practical criticism” and “morality Metaphysical Basis ”proposed and completed, corresponding to the causal of freedom, proves the reality of freedom.
