Since its birth, the film has inextricably linked with the literature. The positive interaction between the novel and the movie has become an indisputable fact. One direct manifestation of the interaction between the two is the adaptation of the novel into a movie. Taking the film “Warm” and the novel “White Dog Swing” for an example, this paper discusses the differences between the adapted movies and the original novels from the aspects of plot design and characters’ Series of changes, and then explores the second creation from the novel to the movie.
