Albert Einstein’s theory laid the foundation for the development of technology from television to space in the 20th century. The magazine Time magazine of the United States named him a representative of the 20th century, “The Times,” to appraise the man of that year every year. At the end of the century, the magazine first named a century man. The editors of Time argue that the world has changed over the past 100 years more than any century and that the twentieth century was an era of technology. Einstein, the absent-minded professor and his disheveled hair and keen eye, became a symbol of scientific genius. Einstein was born in Germany in 1879, won the Nobel Prize in 1921. Emigrated to the United States in 1993, died in 1955. Both candidates for the two outside candidates to participate in the “Age” century figure are politicians: former U.S. President Roosevelt and former Indian Prime Minister Gandhi.
