Using the bioactivity screening model of Pyricularia oryzae, two anticancer active ingredients were isolated from the locus coeruleus (N otarchus leachiicirrosus) by solvent extraction and various chromatographic methods. Using electrospray ionization mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance two-dimensional spectroscopy, they were identified as (7E)-1-acetoxy-8-chloro-7-dichloromethyl-7-en-4-one-3-one. Octane (), (7Z)-acetoxy- 8-chloro-7-dichloromethyl-7-en-4-keto-3-methyloctane (). Compounds I and II were obtained for the first time from the blue-backed anal rabbit and showed significant anti-cancer activity in vitro.
