2009年3月16日凌晨,中央音乐学院著名小提琴教授、享誉世界的杰出音乐教育家、中国人民政协第八、九、十届全国委员林耀基先生,因病突发抢救无效,在北京家中逝世,享年72岁。林先生的辞世是中国小提琴教育界的一大损失,追悼会现场千人齐聚,共悼英灵。林先生倾其一生奉献给了他所挚爱的事业,同侪钦佩,桃李效仿,是小提琴教育界一面不倒的旗帜。仙人已去,但他留给了我们独一无二的小提琴教育方法和高洁的品德,高山仰止。为纪念这位对我国小提琴教育事业举足轻重的开拓者,本期《琴童》推出特别专题采访,邀请了八位音乐家,共同追忆和缅怀林耀基先生。他们中有的是林先生的高徒,有的是同事,有的是同乡,有的是业界同仁,但无一例外对林先生的教学和崇高的品德给予了极高的美誉,并向本刊表达了他们对林先生的无比缅怀之情。谨以此文表达本刊对林先生辞世的沉痛悼念,并向接受本刊采访的各位音乐界大师们表示诚挚的谢意!
