Davidia involucrota is an endemic genus of China and is a relic of the Tertiary Paleozoic tropical flora. Davidia in China’s subtropical regions have had a wide range of distribution. In the stratum sporopollen analysis carried out in Jiangxi Province, sporopollen materials of Davidia involucrata were found. Now, Davidia involucrata is only limited to the subtropical mountainous evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forests in some remote areas of Sichuan, Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces, Habitat conditions, can form the advantages of forest communities. We conducted a preliminary study on the ecological characteristics of Davidia involucrata in Guizhou Province, reported as follows.
