“无意于文”在宋代是一个很重要的诗论命题。虽然“无意于文”在这之前也体现于诗人的创作之中,但还没有像宋代那样明确将其视为一种诗歌追求的最高境界。宋代文人总想超越唐代诗人,但唐诗已达到一种不可企及的高度。于是宋代文人就在诗歌创作上行了很多探索,他们期望在创作上达到一种“无意于文”的最高境界。有宋一代,杨万里就是典型的代表。本文主要试图考察他在诗歌创作上以“无意于文”为最高追求,从而体现出其创作态度;同时,面对“无意于文”与“有意于文”的不同创作态度,解诗者也将采取不同的阐释策略。
