历史学科的地位作用问题,在某些教育工作者中众说纷云,总的说来,低估的较多,说什么这是副课,非主要基础课,无非是想说明它与其他学科比较起来是次要的。其实,既然同是必修的基础课,只有特点的差异,没有分主次的必要。语、数、外的工具性,已在教育计划中作出安排,为什么还老是想把历史学科挤到次要的地位,却又不全盘否定它存在的必要。究其原因是对历史教学在两个文明建设中的特殊优势缺乏统一的认识。
