多年来,杨光雕塑的问题意识集中在两个方面:其一,他的作品始终围绕着科学技术对人类生活的影响以及当代生态环境问题而展开;其二,他的作品一直关注当代雕塑材料的问题,着力进行新雕塑材料可能性的尝试。基于这两个问题,杨光的雕塑持续而又专注,其结果是我们所看到的两大雕塑系列:新盆景系列和电子废弃物系列。作为一个在深圳长大的雕塑家,杨光这一代人印象最深刻的,恐怕是他们亲身经历和感受了这座城市飞速现代化的过程,
