白三烯是花生四烯酸经脂氧化酶途径产生的一种生物活性物质,广泛分布于人类体液、组织和细胞中。它在急性炎症中具有十分重要的地位,可以增加血管通透性,对白细胞有趋化作用,引起组织水肿和炎性浸润。并可与花生四烯酸的另一产物——前列腺素共同作用,相互影响,加重炎症反应。因此它与牙髓炎有密切关系。无论是牙髓组织受热刺激或内毒素影响,均可见白三烯含量明显升高.而用消炎痛、氧化锌丁香酚糊剂等药物则可抑制该物质的产生,从而达到缓解牙髓炎症的作用。
Leukotriene is a bioactive substance produced by lipoxygenase pathway of arachidonic acid, widely distributed in human body fluids, tissues and cells. It has a very important role in acute inflammation, can increase vascular permeability, chemotaxis to leukocytes, causing tissue edema and inflammatory infiltration. And with another product of arachidonic acid - prostaglandins work together to influence each other, increasing the inflammatory response. So it is closely related to pulpitis. Both pulp heat affected by endotoxin or toothpaste, were significantly increased leukotriene content.With indomethacin, zinc oxide eugenol paste and other drugs can inhibit the substance, so as to alleviate the pulp inflammation effect.
