1984年4月,美国十位中青年学者相聚新墨西哥州的圣达菲,讨论“民族志文本的打造”。在几天的时间中,与会者坦率批评、深入讨论,与会论文经过认真修改,汇编成书,于1986年公开出版。这就是著名的《写文化》(Writing Culture)。受此启发,由中国音乐学院两位教授发起组织的沙龙式“书写民族音乐文化高级研讨会”于2009年8月在秦皇岛市举办,十位应邀参会的中青年专家分别来自中国音乐学院、中央音乐学院、上海音乐学院、中国艺术研究院等单位,在为期三天的研讨活动中,参会者对提交的论文进行了充分交流,达成诸多共识。我刊特以笔谈专栏的方式对这批文章中的大部分予以先期压缩刊载,以飨读者。
In April 1984, ten young and middle-aged American academics gathered in Santa Fe, New Mexico to discuss “Creating Ethnographic Texts.” In a matter of days, the participants frankly criticized and discussed in depth the papers of the symposium, which were carefully revised and compiled into a book and published in 1986. This is the famous “Writing Culture.” Inspired by this, the salon-style “Writing National Music Culture Advanced Symposium” sponsored by two professors of the Chinese Conservatory of Music was held in Qinhuangdao in August 2009 and the ten young and middle-aged experts invited to participate were respectively from Chinese music College, Central Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music, China Academy of Arts and other units. During the three-day seminar, participants fully exchanged papers and reached many consensuses. In the meantime, I especially write down most of the articles in a column-by-column manner to readers.
