赵紫阳总理在五届人大五次会议报告中提出：六五计划期间在全国推广四十项重大科技成果。“地质钻探新技术”已列为“六五”计划期间国家新技术推广重点项目之一。地质钻探新技术包括绳索取心钻探技术、液动冲击回转钻探技术、气举反循环钻探技术、护孔堵漏技术及新型钻探设备等。推广上述各项技术，对改变钻探工程的面貌将会有较大的推动。
In his report to the Fifth Session of the Fifth National People’s Congress, Premier Zhao Ziyang put forward: During the Sixth Five-Year Plan period, 40 major scientific and technological achievements will be promoted across the country. “Geological drilling new technology” has been listed as one of the key national new technology promotion projects during the “Sixth Five-Year Plan” period. Geological drilling new technologies include rope coring drilling technology, hydraulic impact rotary drilling technology, gas lift reverse circulation drilling technology, plugging plugging technology and new drilling equipment. Promote the above-mentioned technologies, will change the face of drilling engineering will have a greater impetus.
