学界讨论劳伦斯时,大多从他的“血性理论”来探讨其作品。部分学者虽关注劳伦斯对自然和爱情题材的书写与牧歌传统有关,但他们并没有借助牧歌传统的内涵来详尽地阐述劳伦斯小说中的牧歌成分,以及由此体现出的政治、文化内涵。本文拟从牧人角色的替代者、夸饰的牧人爱情、变味的牧歌人际关系等方面,探讨劳伦斯短篇小说中的牧歌因素,以揭示劳伦斯的乡村情怀和他对工业文明的态度。
When discussing Lawrence, most of his works from his theory of bloody theory. Although some scholars pay close attention to Lawrence’s writing on nature and love, they are not concerned with the pastoral tradition. However, they did not use the traditional connotation of pastoral to elaborate the composition of herds in Lawrence’s novels and the political and cultural connotations they embodied. This article intends to explore the herding factors in Lawrence’s short stories in order to reveal Lawrence’s rural feelings and his attitude toward industrial civilization from such aspects as shepherd’s role replacement, exaggerated shepherd’s love and tasteless pastoral interpersonal relationship.
