碳60(又称巴基球,以下简写为C_(60))是1985年由美国科学家发现的碳元素的第三种同素异形体,其分子由60个碳原子组成,在常温下是一种稳定的分子晶体。根据分析测定,C_(60)分子为由20个正六边形和12个正五边形组成的空心立体结构(见图1),形状酷似足球,其中每个碳原子均含两个单键和一个双键。
