Toxoplasmosis is a zoonotic parasitic disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii, which can affect various tissues and organs of the whole body. Its clinical manifestations are complex and its severity is disproportionate, which can easily result in clinical missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis. To understand the infection of toxoplasma gondii in children, we detected the toxoplasma gondii-specific IgM antibodies in 280 hospitalized children by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
