说起老北京,人们很快能想起它的标志性建筑——牌楼。牌楼是中国传统建筑中的一种独特的建筑形式,建筑学家将其划入门的范畴。四十年代以前北京城的街头巷尾、园林庙宇内的牌楼比比皆是,式样繁多,形成一条亮丽的风景线。随着岁月的流逝,这些精致的建筑小品或因自身腐朽、或因城市改造而逐渐消失了,慢慢的被人们淡忘。现在人们能够看见的仅有国子监街上和部分公园中的几座牌楼。而其它牌楼我们只能从历史照片或这些零零散散被保存下来的明 Speaking of old Beijing, people quickly think of its landmark building - Archway. The archway is a unique form of architecture in traditional Chinese architecture where architects draw the door. Before the forties of Beijing’s streets and lanes, archways within the garden temples abound, with a great variety of styles, forming a beautiful landscape. As time goes by, these exquisite architectural pieces or because of their decadent, or because of urban transformation and gradually disappear, and slowly forgotten by people. Nowadays people can see only a few of the arches in the streets and in some parks of Guozijian. Other archway we can only save from the historical photos or these fragmented Ming
