Substituting boron for carbon can improve the corrosion behavior of Fe-based amorphoussignificantly especially in acid solution with saturated H_2S. XPS analysis proves that boronenriches in the surface layer of amorphous and reacts with hydrogen to form B_(10)H_(14) . Itefficiently prevents the intrusion of hydrogen to the sample, thus the destructive effect ofhydrogen can be decreased greatly.
