癌细胞并非全是恶性细胞,多半的癌物质是由支撑性细胞如成纤维细胞、组织巨噬细胞和内皮细胞构成。这些正常细胞在癌细胞中恢复、扩增及维持的过程,与发炎和因修复急性炎症导致的破坏而出现的组织改型密不可分。研究发现了一种名叫MyD88的细胞内蛋白质,在实验小鼠的肝及结肠癌的发生中发挥重要作用。同时牵涉到天然免疫反应,即转换由病原体和炎性细胞素如白细胞介素-1(IL-1)所诱发的信号。
Cancer cells are not all malignant cells, most of the cancerous material is composed of supporting cells such as fibroblasts, tissue macrophages and endothelial cells. The process by which these normal cells resume, proliferate, and maintain in cancer cells is inextricably linked to inflammation and tissue modification resulting from the repair of acute inflammation-causing destruction. The study found that an intracellular protein called MyD88 plays an important role in the development of liver and colon cancer in experimental mice. Involving the innate immune response at the same time, the signal transduced by pathogens and inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-1 (IL-1) is switched over.
