1920年,奥运会选择了比利时一个历史悠久的港口城市、欧洲最繁荣的商业和艺术城市安特卫普。1928年,荷兰最大的城市阿姆斯特丹又以其浓厚的人文历史吸引了全世界崇尚运动的人们。两届奥运会在会标的设计风格上,有着异曲同工之妙.相对于安特卫普,八年后的阿姆斯特丹奥运会会标融入了更多现代因素。蓝色的背景上,一名长跑运动员高举象征胜利的白色月桂枝。会徽底部飘扬着荷兰国旗色红、白、蓝三色波浪。会徽创造性地将荷兰、运动、胜利、奥林匹克等元素融为一体。
In 1920, the Olympic Games chose Belgium, a historic port city, Antwerp, Europe’s most prosperous commercial and art city. In 1928, Amsterdam, the largest city in the Netherlands, attracted the world’s people who advocated sports because of its strong history of humanity. Two Olympic Games in the monogram design style, has the same purpose with respect to Antwerp compared to eight years after the entry into the Olympic Games in Beijing more modern elements. A long-distance runner holds up white laurel sticks on a blue background symbolizing victory. Fluttering at the bottom of the emblem of the Netherlands flag color red, white and blue waves. The emblem creatively combines elements of the Netherlands, sports, triumph, and the Olympics.
