According to the results of Cedars Sinai Medical Center’s rapid infusion of high-dose streptokinase in 98 patients with myocardial infarction, it is thought to cause serious and potentially dangerous hypotension, especially in patients who have been hemodynamically impaired. During infusion streptokinase, the patient’s systolic blood pressure decreased by an average of 35 mmHg, a decrease of 82 mmHg, and an average decrease of 20 mmHg of diastolic blood pressure. Hypotension averages disappear after 9 minutes, but in 4 patients with severe left ventricular failure, systolic blood pressure was less than 85 milligrams despite intravenous infusion of catecholamines
