修筑宝成鉄路的鉄道部第六工程局第一工程段職工,又光荣地承担起一項艰巨的新任务——修建洛陽至陝縣間的複綫工程。目前已派出先遣隊積極進行施工准备工作,預計在第一季度内全面展開施工。这項工程完成后,將大大便利修建三門峽水庫和陝西工业建設的运輸工作。洛陽——陝縣段是隴海綫上运輸最繁忙的一段。据鄭州鉄路管理局的初步計算,目前这一段的列車通过能力只能達到需要量的63%,因此,需要進行技術改造。洛陽——陝縣段地势崎嶇,有一千八百公尺長的硖石大隧道、有全國聞名的四十五公尺高的大桥——楊連弟桥(即八号桥)。在这个地區修複线,工程十分艰巨,既要开山穿洞,又要修建同八号桥一样高的大桥。目前,一工程段的工人們都欢欣鼓舞地准备迎接这个艰巨的工程任务,各隊、班、組都表示,要又多、又快、又好、又省的全面完成这段複綫工程。

The rugged Luoyang-Shanxian section has a stone tunnel of 1,800 meters in length with the famous Yanglidi Bridge (No. 8 Bridge), a 45-meter-high bridge famous throughout the country. Repair lines in this area, the project is arduous, it is necessary to open the hole, but also to build a bridge with the same No. 8 Bridge. At present, all the workers in a construction section are delighted to meet this arduous task. All the teams, classes and groups all said they should do more, faster, better and save more and complete the double-track project.
