本文通过水热反应合成了一种新化合物Ag Yb(IO3)4,用X射线单晶衍射技术鉴定了其晶体结构.该晶体属于单斜晶系,空间群为Cc,晶胞参数a=31.216(6)?,b=5.5379(11)?,c=12.475(2)?;a=g=90°,b=91.172(3)°;V=2151.6(7)?~3;Z=8.通过X射线衍射(XRD)、能量弥散X射线(EDX)、傅里叶变换衰减全反射红外(ATR-FTIR)、紫外-可见吸收(UV-Vis)、热重分析(TG)、倍频效应(SHG)等技术测试了其综合性能.该化合物具有较强的能够相位匹配的二阶非线性光学性能,其粉末倍频效应强度约为KDP(KH_2PO_4)的5倍;其较宽的带隙(3.35 e V)表明它应该有较高的激光损伤阈值;其粉末的红外吸收边可达12μm;其还具有良好的热稳定性能,热分解温度可达500℃.以上结果表明,Ag Yb(IO_3)_4是一种有潜在应用价值的中红外非线性光学晶体材料.
In this paper, a new compound, Ag Yb (IO3) 4, was synthesized by hydrothermal reaction and its crystal structure was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system with the space group Cc and the unit cell parameter a = 31.216 (6) ?, b = 5.5379 (11) ?, c = 12.475 (2) ?; a = g = 90 °, b = 91.172 (3) °; V = 2151.6 (7)? The microstructure and mechanical properties were characterized by XRD, EDX, ATR-FTIR, UV-Vis, TG, (SHG). The compound possesses strong second-order nonlinear optical properties that can be phase-matched, and its powder octave-band effect intensity is about 5 times that of KDP (KH 2 PO 4). Its wide bandgap (3.35 e V) indicates that it should have a higher laser damage threshold, and its powder has an infrared absorption edge of up to 12 μm. It also has good thermal stability with a thermal decomposition temperature up to 500 ° C. These results show that Ag Yb ( IO_3) _4 is a potential application of mid-infrared nonlinear optical crystal material.
