2001年9月23日,首批12名律师赴澳大利亚堪培拉大学攻读法学硕士学位正式成行。这是江苏省律协在中国即将加入 WTO 的大形势下,适应行业实际需要,强化培训力度,拓展培训方式的新举措。在澳大利亚近1年的学习期间,学员们非常珍惜来之不易的学习机会,通过不懈地努力,赢得了学校和老师的认可,外语和国际法律专业水平都得到了很大程度的提高。
On September 23, 2001, the first batch of 12 lawyers went to study for a law degree at the University of Canberra in Australia. This is a new measure taken by the Jiangsu Provincial Association of Justice to cope with the actual needs of the industry, strengthen training and expand training methods under the general situation that China is about to join the WTO. During the nearly one year of study in Australia, trainees cherished their hard-earned learning opportunities. Through unremitting efforts, the students won recognitions from schools and teachers, and their foreign languages and international legal profession have been greatly improved.
