Cognitive linguistics holds that language is gradually formed through cognitive processing based on the experience of the real world, and is the result of subjective and objective interactions. Because human needs are the same, human physiological structure and psychological operating mechanism are the same, so different languages have similar characteristics in the naming of things. This paper compares the different but similar ideographic features of English and Chinese texts, and adds new evidence for the study of the commonalities of languages.
