在机床修理中,经常要更换一些长齿条。对于长齿条的加工,过去是用刨床,其效率低质量差。后来改为在卧式铣床上安装附加万能铣头,使刀杆转90°与纵向工作台平行,利用分度头挂轮进行分度。但这样操作繁琐,每分一个齿分度手柄需转30多圈,因此劳动强度大,或因摇错圈数而造成废品。所以,我们又对分齿方法进行了改进。在铣床右侧装上一组挂轮(如图)代替分度头挂轮进行分度。
