建立免费对等关系,可以令互联网服务提供商(ISP)减少费用开销并获得更好的传输性能。单个ISP在选择对等互联对象中,评估不同互联对象带来的开销、收益及双方的互联意愿等至关重要,然而它们的关系比较复杂。该文选择以接入点(POP)地理位置之间的距离、假设对等互联建立后的流量、两个ISP在全网中的层次地位来对上述关系进行简化,从而提出了通过计算距离、流量和层次来进行互联选择的简便方法。通过中国教育和科研计算机网(CERNET)的实际对等互联选择过程,验证了该方法的效果。
Establishing a free peering relationship will allow Internet service providers (ISPs) to reduce overhead and achieve better transport performance. Single ISP in the choice of peer-connected objects, to assess the cost of different objects connected to the Internet, the benefits and the willingness of the two interconnections is crucial, but their relationship is more complicated. This paper chooses the distance between POP locations, supposing the traffic of the peer-to-peer interconnection and the hierarchical status of the two ISPs in the whole network to simplify the above-mentioned relationship, and proposes that by calculating the distance, Traffic and level to choose the easy way to connect. Through the actual process of peer-to-peer selection of China Education and Research Network (CERNET), the effectiveness of this method is verified.
