问卷调查发现,英语专业学生礼貌用语习得状况总体欠佳,综合性重点高校与普通高校三年级学生总体习得水平差异显著,而普通高校一、三年级之间无显著差异。在礼貌级别的把握上,普通高校一、三年级和重点高校三年级学生之间均存在显著性差异,重点高校三年级优于普通高校三年级,后一类学校三年级优于一年级,表明学习者对英语礼貌得体性的把握与英语语言综合水平成正比。文章进而探讨其主要成因及对英语专业教学的启示。
The questionnaire survey found that the English majors’ polite language acquisition status is generally poor. There is significant difference between the general key college and the third-year college students in overall acquisition level, but there is no significant difference between the first and third grade in college. At the level of politeness, there were significant differences between the first and third grade colleges and the third grade college students. The third grade colleges were superior to the third grade colleges and the third grade schools were superior to the first grade, indicating that Learners’ mastery of the appropriateness of English politeness is directly proportional to the level of English language synthesis. The article then explores its main causes and its implications for English teaching.
