Writing this topic was influenced by a small book called “Hong Kong Cenozoic,” using the form of interviews. The interviews were all 70-year university graduates who were very active in Hong Kong’s political, cultural and educational circles in the 1980s. The difference is that the Cenozoic here refers to people in their thirties or so-called “sixty-eight” style. Moreover, the characters of “Hong Kong Cenozoic” basically come from two or three Hong Kong universities. Interviewers and their classmates are either already familiar with or have long known. And I myself was a science and engineering student, but in the six years of financial reporter experience, one after another contact with such a wave of “new generation.”
