This article describes a method for the detection of GMO (Genetically Modified Substance) in transgenic corn and soybean using the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method. The detection steps include: (1) extraction of genomic DNA from maize and soybean; (2) PCR using the 35s promoter and NOS terminator; and (3) PCR of specific genes of maize and soybean Amplification to determine whether it is indeed corn and soybeans; (4) the use of agarose gel electrophoresis and digestion methods PCR products were described and confirmed.
