落叶飘零的时节,首都的戏曲舞台却是一派生机。四川成都市川剧团在以《红楼惊梦》轰动了上海后,又乘势北上,直入京门,为首都戏苑锦上添花。为此,中国剧协创作委员会、艺术委员会、《剧本》月刊于11月6日联合召开座谈会,围绕着戏曲如何表现当代意识、戏曲改革的道路等问题进行了探讨。参加座谈会的有著名剧作家、评论家、导演、演员以及观众代表。他们是吴雪、刘厚生、游默、曲六乙、霍大寿、郭启宏、安葵、孟繁树、张郁、林兆华、徐城北、廖奔、周桓、林克欢等,《红楼惊梦》的编剧徐棻,导演胡伟民、舞美设计韩生,主要演员刘芸、萧开蓉,以及北京师院中文系的师生等。
