Contemporary American scholar Hayden Wright believes that the difference between an event and a story lies in the generation process and the reproduction mode of the story. In fact, the difference between the two is not only reflected in this, but also the story of being “discovered” and the story of “being invented” are the result of two cognitive activities, namely, creative reaction and motivation. The difference between events and stories reflects the distinction between the two philosophical views in which epistemology and active reflection occur.
