Chim.
The word Chromatography has recently been translated as “Chromatography” (see our issue of October and December 1950), a translation which can be said to be a “letter” , But this knowledge has been developed for colorless compounds and wanderer. In addition, Chroma-tography is not limited to the determination of (determination), the separation (separation) can also be applied, and the use of earlier, broader. This method is the use of adsorption (adsorption), so translated as “adsorption” is more reasonable and appropriate. If specifically refers to the application in the separation can be called “adsorption separation method”, in terms of measurement is called “adsorption analysis.” In foreign countries, it has been suggested that the more practical Adsorptive percolation [see Anal. Chim. Acta 2,648 (1948)] be used instead of the original Chromatography one
