A Finnish public practice built a house with waste plastic as the main building material (including 75%). The interior and exterior walls of this house are made of composite materials. The wall is a sandwich structure with a layer of foamed polystyrene insulation sandwiched between two layers of composite sheet. Pillars and beams are made of polished planes and steel-reinforced composite sections, while intermediate floor beams are made of styrofoam-composite prefabricated components and concrete-cast rebars.
