I. INTRODUCTION The analysis of the internal forces of piles subjected to lateral loads has been of concern to the relevant engineering designers. In general, the pile is regarded as an elastic foundation beam placed on the Winkler foundation. As the lateral resistance of the foundation changes with depth, there are different assumptions, namely the so-called Chang’s method, K method, m method, and C method. ,As shown in Figure 1. The above four hypotheses have been adopted in the relevant domestic engineering design departments. For general cohesive soils and sandy soils, the railway, traffic, and water conservancy departments currently use more m methods.
