In the recent ten years, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) has made great progress in protein separation and purification, and has been widely used. HPLC includes exclusion chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, affinity chromatography, hydrophobic reaction chromatography and reverse phase chromatography, and has been applied in almost all kinds of traditional methods for protein separation.
