The influence of steam injection on the laboratory measurements of sandstone conductivity contributes to the interpretation of the results of the electrical measurements in the underground steam injection project monitoring. This article provides the amount of change in injected steam measured experimentally. The injection of low quality steam (boiling from a 0.0 mol / L Nacl solution) into a clean sand layer saturated with 0.01 mol / L Nacl results in a decrease in the conductivity of the vapor band with a constant equilibrium conductivity.
