《洗心禅》里有这么一个典故。李翱是唐代思想家、文学家,哲学上受佛教影响颇深,他认为人性天生为善,非常向往药山禅师的德行,他在担任朗州太守时曾多次邀请药山禅师下山参禅论道,均被拒绝,所以李翱只得亲自登门造访。那天药山禅师正在山边树下看经,虽然是太守亲自来拜访自己,但他毫无起迎之意,对李翱不理不睬。见此情景,李翱愤然道:“见面不如闻名!”便拂袖
