去年夏天,在整理陈明同志收存的一批旧物中,发现了一叠暗旧的落满灰尘的稿纸,纸张粗糙,呈深棕色,那是当年延安著名的马兰纸,纸上是丁玲的笔迹,用铅笔写成。稿纸十六开,每页二十行,每行二十字,丁玲把它对折,变为三十二开大小,左右两面书写。这·叠稿纸有十七张,一共书写了三十三面。后来又发现了两张二十一行横格纸,也是丁玲的笔迹,用钢笔正反面书写,共四面。这两张横格纸显然是从笔记本上撕下来的,色泽较白,纸质较好。这些手稿,尤其是那一叠马兰纸,整理起来是比较困难的。首先,它们没有页码,不是顺序排列,有些页章已经散落失佚,因此有的页与页之间衔接不上;其次,年代久远,铅笔字迹有的地方已经不甚清晰;第三,铅笔稿有残缺,钢笔稿无结尾,这不是一份完整的稿子。其不完整性还在于,它不是一份成稿,而是一些草稿,甚至也不是一份完整的草稿.而是写了好几个开头却终未完成的残稿。这份草稿,是丁玲对于自己的小说《在医院中》的说明和检讨。
Last summer, in arranging a collection of old objects kept by Comrade Chen Ming, they found a pile of dark, dusty manuscripts with coarse, dark brown paper, the famous Malan paper in Yanan that year and Ding Ling’s Handwriting, written in pencil. There are seventeen sheets of paper and a total of thirty-three pages. Later found two twenty-one lines of lined paper, but also Ding Ling’s handwriting, with a positive and negative writing pen, a total of four. The two lined paper is clearly torn from the notebook, the color is white, paper is better. These manuscripts, especially those stacked Malan papers, are more difficult to organize. First of all, they have no page numbers, are not arranged in sequence, and some pages have been lost and lost, so there is a gap between pages and pages. Secondly, at the age of older, pencil writing is not clear enough. Third, Incomplete, no end of the pen draft, this is not a complete manuscript. Its incompleteness is also that it is not a draft, but a few drafts, and not even a complete draft, but rather a few original drafts that have not been completed yet. This draft is Ding Ling’s description and review of his novel “In a Hospital.”
