森林火灾是世界性林业重要灾害之一,每年都有一定数量的发生,造成林业资源的重大损失和全球性环境污染。森林火灾具有突发性,在较短的时间内能造成较大的损失的特点。因此一旦有火警发生,就必须以极快的速度采取扑救措施,因此林火行为的及时发现非常重要。热成像摄像仪的发明已成为及早发觉、排除森林火灾隐情的必要手段。随着科技的发展,现在森林防火也开始实现智能化管理,工作人员只需坐在办公室拖动鼠标,就可观测上千平方公里的林区。在发生紧急情况时,可通过监测画面及语音广播对前端林区进行远端遥控,指挥抢险工作。

In the event of an emergency, remote monitoring of the front-end forest area can be carried out through surveillance screens and voice broadcasts to direct the rescue work.
