Brutus and Anthony are the two important leaders in Shakespeare’s historical tragedy, “Julius Caesar.” Although they are both Roman aristocrats, their political personality and strategy are completely different. Brutus is a naïve politician combined with extreme idealism and egoism and is the initiator of all the tragedies of the play. Antony is a prolific eloquent warrior, a brave politician and a commanding military It is a real leader who is a realistic leader without any regrets and is a hero who can successfully lead the people. The different political outcomes of these two politicians, due to their different personalities and political strategies, are not without enlightenment for the political strategy of the current political leaders.
