二元信号传导系统是变异链球菌感应外界环境变化并对相应基因表达进行调节的主要机制。它是由感应组氨酸激酶和反应调节因子组成的,通过磷酸化作用来对信号进行传送。目前在变异链球菌基因组中已发现了13种二元信号传导系统和1种孤儿调节因子,它们在变异链球菌的酸耐受性、生物膜的形成、感受态发育、应激耐受等致病机制中起着重要的作用。该文就近年来关于变异链球菌二元信号传导系统的研究进展作一综述。
Binary signal transduction system is the main mechanism by which Streptococcus mutans induces changes in the external environment and regulates gene expression. It is composed of an induction histidine kinase and a response regulator, signaling through phosphorylation. Currently, 13 binary signal transduction systems and one orphan regulator have been found in the S. mutans genome. They are responsible for the acid tolerance, biofilm formation, competent development, and stress tolerance of Streptococcus mutans The pathogenesis plays an important role. This review summarizes the recent progress on the binary signal transduction system of Streptococcus mutans.
