自从本刊今年第一期发表徐闻道向志的来信和编辑部的按语以后,关于怎样向学生进行思想品德教育的问题引起了全省广大教育工作者(特别是中小学教师)的重视,纷纷来信来稿参加讨论。截至五月底止,编辑部共收到来信来稿442件。部分地区和学校还组织教师结合本刊发表的文章进行座谈。从来稿和座谈中反映:广大教育工作者都是秉看敞开思想、畅所欲言、澄清认识、探求真理的态度,积极热情地参加这一讨论。四个多月的来稿,总的是根据徐闻道同志信内所反映的情况,申述自己的看法,有的也提出了一些新的问题。随着本刊陆续发表文章,争论的锋芒聚集在廖彩桂的《不打哪能成器》、廖华峯的《先压服,再说服》、钱模筒的《教师既要建立威
Since the publication of Xu Wendao’s letter and the editor’s commentary in the first issue of this year’s edition, the issue of how to educate students on ideological and moral issues has attracted the attention of the majority of educators in the province (especially primary and secondary school teachers).
