Jane Eyre has been the focus of readers and critics since its publication. Feminist literary criticism makes the interpretation of this work unique. Feminist critique argues that Jane Eyre concentrates the female voice from annihilation to bold vocalization, but adopts the covert strategy of “double discourse.” In addition to the bold declaration of Jane Eyre, Bertha, the crazy female woman in the novel, was also heavily criticized by women and even rewritten. They all embody the repression and resistance of women, and thus they form a complementary relationship. By combing the feminist reading of Jane Eyre, the eternal charm and text production ability of this immortal piece of Jane Eyre are reflected from all angles. Through the interpretation of Jane Eyre, feminism also enriched the theory of feminist criticism, echoing the feminist movements in all periods.
