The disc carries a spiral groove from a CD-R stencil. The process is not the same as CD-ROM disk-based injection molding for the additional stringent requirements of its birefringence and tilt. 3. Cooling: After injection molding, cool the substrate with pure air to ensure that the dyed coating process is at a suitable temperature. 4. Disk Scanning: Prior to the start of the dye coating process, the substrate inspection device is used to scan the disk carefully to see if the disk is defective. In this way, the disc tilt and axial deviation can be mechanically tested and the substrate defects, contaminants, birefringence and diffraction properties optically tested. 5. Dyeing Coating: The cooled disc is dyed. Organic staining solution (phthalein
