水土流失预测是水土保持方案编制的主要内容,在编制无水土流失实测资料项目的水土保持方案时,无资料可借鉴,但又必须完成预测内容。调查分析法就是针对这种情况,通过对开发建设项目扰动地面的坡度、林草覆盖度、沟谷、崩塌、地表形态、固体物质补给等水土流失因子的变化进行调查分析,按各因子变化的推测结果,依据《土壤侵蚀分类分级标准》(SL 190—2007),得出表征各因子综合性变化的侵蚀模数,用以表明各因子相对于背景值的综合性变化程度和危害,从而满足方案编制要求,避免水土流失预测数据的臆造。以贵州省织金县大新桥水库灌溉工程的大坝建设区为例,说明调查分析法对水力侵蚀模数的具体预测。
