本文对西太平洋北部的边缘海鄂霍茨克海的地质、地球物理工作，如海底地貌与沉积情况、海底挖掘的探查工作与成果、热流测量与岩浆活动研究、地磁场与重力场分布特征与深部物质运动的分析以及油气资源勘探等各方面作了调研与论述，并提出了几点看法和认识．
In this paper, the geological and geophysical work of the Sea of Okhotsk, such as the seabed geomorphology and sedimentation, the exploration work and results of submarine excavation, the study of heat flow measurement and magmatism, the distribution characteristics of geomagnetic field and gravity field and the deep Material movement analysis and oil and gas exploration and other aspects made a survey and discussion, and made a few observations and understanding.
