This year, he is 22 years old. Yan Han first entered Yan’an Lu Yi Art Department, immediately joined the Lu Xun woodcutting mission, and later became Lu Yi’s teacher. In the emerging woodcut campaign advocated by Mr. Lu Xun, Yan Han is a rare little girl. His woodcut works are numerous and romantic in color. In a long period of revolutionary literary and artistic career, Yan Han not only devoted his passion and talents to the revolutionary cause, but also actively explored the art of woodcut nationalization. His series of woodcut creations are testimony to the history of modern Chinese revolution and are even more an example of the nationalization of emerging woodcuts. Due to the remarkable achievements made in printmaking and art education over the past decades, Yan Han enjoys a high prestige in the art world, especially in printmaking.
