In order to study the spatial distribution characteristics of vanadium and cobalt contents in soils under different plant communities, soil samples of vanadium and cobalt in soils from different plant communities were collected by ICP-MS in May 2009 in the new wetland area north of the Yellow River estuary. And cobalt content analysis. The results showed that although the contents of vanadium and cobalt were different in different wetlands, the distribution characteristics of vanadium and cobalt were similar in the tidal flat wetland from the landward direction to the seaward direction, and the variation in the horizontal direction was moderately variable. In the vertical direction, although the content of vanadium and cobalt mostly fluctuated in different types of wetland soils, the content of vanadium and cobalt in the same types of wetland changed in a consistent manner. Correlation analysis showed that vanadium and cobalt content in wetland soil had a significant positive correlation (P <0.01) with iron, manganese, organic matter, clay and silt content, and negatively correlated with sand content (P <0.01). The vanadium content in surface wetland soils ranged from 72.77 to 118.40 mg / kg with a mean of 93.06 mg / kg and the surface cobalt content ranged from 8.94 to 16.91 mg / kg with an average of 12.54 mg / kg. Although the vanadium and cobalt contents of soils in the study area were lower than their national background values (112 mg / kg and 19 mg / kg), they were significantly higher than the background values of vanadium and cobalt content in North China carats (78 mg / kg and 12 mg / kg). The enrichment coefficients of vanadium and cobalt in soils in the fresh wet area of the Yellow River Estuary are 1.19 and 1.01, respectively, which are the enrichment of weak degree. The results show that soil parent material determines the spatial distribution of vanadium and cobalt in wetland soils. Soil organic matter content, grain size composition and iron-manganese content are the dominant factors that affect the spatial distribution of the two. Vegetation types and tidal distribution are also important influences.
