从一张纸条开始 在中国的十大元帅中,徐向前是与毛泽东相识最晚的一位。当毛泽东的名字已经响遍南方许多城镇的时候,徐向前还是个无名的小卒。 1924年初春,徐向前怀着救国救民的愿望,走出山西五台山县境,经上海到广州,投考黄埔军校。在军校,他很快知道了两个共产党人:一个是在黄埔军校任政治教官的肖楚女;一个是时任国民党宣传部长、《政治周报》主编的毛泽东。徐向前和同学们开始对肖楚女印象深,原因,他既是政治教官,又有一个特别令年轻人好奇的名字。黄埔军校的学生兵,在读书看报、谈论革命的政治活动中,渐渐对毛泽东的印象越来越深。

In the early spring of 1924, Xu Xiangqian, out of his desire to save the country and save the country, went out of Wutai Mountain County in Shanxi Province and entered the Whampoa Military Academy through Shanghai to Guangzhou. Whampoa Military Academy student soldiers, reading newspapers, talking about revolutionary political activities, gradually getting more and more impressed on Mao Zedong.
